Our Weekend Review

I'll start this post off with Friday. Rusty was off work, so we headed to the Getty Museum. It's free to get in, but you have to pay for parking. This place is beautiful and the girls were very excited because you get to ride a Tram all the way up the hill.

Ava was excited as well. She was so good. In a minute, I'll show you what she got to do for the first time ever!

Gasp! Can you even believe I got this picture? I might have to frame this one. They're so sweet. Mallorie didn't like the art museum as much as Hannah (what do you expect, she's 7), but she was really good.

Here's what Ava got to do for the first time ever. She rode in a forward facing stroller. They're free to rent from the museum, and since we didn't want to lug her carseat up the tram, we decided to let her try out a front facing stroller. The results were great. She loved it and even napped in it!
These next pictures are very small & I'm sorry about it. My camera died and I had to use my cell. Thankfully it takes very good pics, but they are small.

This pic is a wall that they give the kids dry erase markers and let them leave their signatures. Hannah wanted me to take this picture of her. It's supposed to look like The Little Mermaid. Don't you think it does?

My little Mally.

Wow, another one of them together. They were in a good mood that day!

Hannah is really grown up, can't you tell?

Not Mal, but that's fine with me! This was such a pretty place. If anyone visits, we have to go here. It's cheap and they have some really beautiful works of art!

I just think these two are cute. Oh, and they also had a lot of fun that day.
Speaking of babies. Here is Rusty's new one:
I'm not sure if I blogged about it, but several months ago our church got robbed. They stole all of our guitars. Rusty's bass was one of them. Saturday he finally bought a new one. I don't know all the technical details, but it is beautiful and sounds very nice. I'm glad he finally got a new one.
Saturday evening we went out to dinner with some friends for a birthday. Hannah and Mally didn't go so it was kind of like a date. We went to Buca di Beppo's, a big Italian food place. It's so delicious and they serve family style so you can share dinner. There were so many people there and it's so loud, but we always have fun.
I filled up on bread mixed with this:
I'm a sucker for olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette! Yummmmmmy!
Ava went with us and was the belle of the ball. Well, to us anyway. Always to us. She ate Cheese rigatoni or something. It was an Italian sounding baby food, so that's what I bought her so she could eat Italian food with us. She really liked it! But then again, she really likes all her baby food. I've started feeding her the 2nd foods and that's going a lot better.
After dinner we had some alone time with Ava and got some cute pictures. She is doing so much these days. I can't believe she'll be 6 months old in a couple of weeks. How can that much time have already passed by?I had some videos to post, but for some reason Blogger won't load any of my videos. So, guess these pics will have to do for now. Hope your week is wonderful!
