If Looks Could Kill

Thankful list for today:
I am thankful for my healthy children.
I am thankful for my faith, because without it I don't think I could handle life.
I am thankful for the weather where I live. It's perfect...all year long.

So on Monday we were totally sneaky and took the kids out of school an hour early and headed to Disneyland. I think I talked about that in my last post. This time I wanted to post a picture of the Castle that is decorated for Christmas. It was so GORGEOUS!!! They do a phenominal job decorating Disneyland for Christmas and watching the fireworks at the end going off over this pretty castle was just the icing on the cake. Don't tell anyone, but I caught myself holding back a few tears when Silent Night was played. Or maybe something got in my eye.

Today was so awesome. I mean, I didn't get anything done exactly, but what did happen, made my day!

Let me start off by saying that I've been dilly-dallying around about starting my own little business. Nothing big, but selling some of the stuff I make, particularly beaded crosses. Well, I sold one to a friend of a friend a few weeks ago and apparently a friend of her's saw it. Anyway, she called me today and ordered a few. How awesome is that? I'll make sure and post a pic of the ones I make her. If you want one, ahem, please email me and let me know.

I snapped these pics today while I was outside shooting some of the crosses to show her some examples of what they look like. I was trying out my other lense and I just wanted to share these pics. In the pic above, isn't that the most "if looks could kill" looks you've ever seen. She wasn't even mad, she just had this face goin' on! Too funny!!

Then of course she decided it was time to try to eat my camera. Plus I loved how Hannah blurred into the background in this shot.
And NO post would be complete without the little stinker named Mallorie. I treated them to Starbucks today after school. Because I had a little cash AND because I am the nicest mom on the face of the earth! Yes I am.

And incase you were wondering if I am enjoying my new camera/family member, let me tell you that I take pictures of everything. Nothing is safe. And I downloaded the free 30 day trial of Lightroom2 by Adobe Photoshop, and while it isn't the easiest photo editing program on earth, it is a lot of fun to play with.

I hope you have a wonderful Thursday.
~Blessings~
